1 – Proving a Point
Jason wasn’t convinced.
Even after the orgy at Bear Bash, even after Tank took off the pendant and Jason saw the demonic hints beneath his skin, Tank had managed to talk him down.
“I’m still the same guy,” Tank had said. “I just… have a little extra now.”
Jason had scoffed. “A little extra? Dude, you turned Bear Bash into a fucking altar to your libido.”
Tank had smirked at that. He couldn’t deny it. The sheer power he’d felt, the way men gravitated toward him, their restraint shattered the second they touched him—he’d never experienced anything like it before.
Jason had given him a long, hard look.
And then—
“Fine,” Jason said. “Prove it.”
Tank had raised an eyebrow. “Prove what?”
“That you’re still you.”
And so, with Sunday wide open, they decided to test it.
Jason was nothing if not thorough.

2 – The First Test: The Pendant’s Influence
They started simple.
Back at Jason’s loft, Tank sat on the couch while Jason stood a few feet away, arms crossed.
“Alright,” Jason said. “First question. What does it feel like when you put the pendant on?”
Tank held the thick silver pendant between his fingers. Even without looking, he could feel the weight of it, the way it seemed to hum softly, like it was in sync with something inside him.
“I don’t know,” Tank admitted. “Like it… contains something.”
Jason gestured. “Put it on.”
Tank slipped it over his head.
Instantly, something settled inside him, like a thick veil had been pulled over a fire.
The heat was still there, the power still curled inside him, but it was like a hand had been placed firmly on his chest, keeping it from spilling over.
Jason watched him carefully. “And now?”
Tank rolled his shoulders. “Still feels like me.”
Jason narrowed his eyes. “But?”
Tank smirked. “But… a little more contained.”
Jason exhaled, rubbing his jaw. “Okay. Now take it off.”
Tank unfastened it.
The shift was immediate.
The veil lifted.
Something invisible unfurled from his skin, stretching, testing the air. The heat surged, filling his chest, his limbs, his breath.
Jason stepped back before he could stop himself.
Tank’s smirk widened.
“Feel that?” he rumbled.
Jason exhaled sharply. “Yeah. I fucking feel it.”
His pulse was faster now, his breathing just a little shallower. He wasn’t falling under like the men at Bear Bash, but he could tell—the influence was there.
Tank raised an eyebrow. “And that’s just with me standing still.”
Jason scowled. “Cocky bastard.”
Tank laughed. “Told you. I’m still me.”
Jason hesitated, then nodded. “Okay. So the pendant hides the physical changes—but the power is still there.”
Tank leaned back, resting his arms behind his head. “Looks that way.”
Jason studied him for a long moment. “So… what happens if you focus?”
Tank grinned.
“Let’s find out.”

3 – The Second Test: The Lust Power
Jason wasn’t about to let things get out of control.
He refused to end up on his knees like the men at Bear Bash.
So he set some ground rules.
“First,” Jason said, pacing, “you’re not allowed to use me as a test subject.”
Tank laughed. “Afraid you’ll like it too much?”
Jason threw a throw pillow at him. “Shut the fuck up.”
Tank smirked, catching it effortlessly.
Jason pointed at the open window. “The streets are full of people. Try turning it on and see if anyone reacts.”
Tank rolled his shoulders.
He closed his eyes.
He focused.
And pushed.
The air thickened.
It was subtle, at first—like an invisible ripple expanding outward. But then—
A woman walking past Jason’s building stopped mid-step.
A man on the corner shuddered, his breath catching.
A group of guys passing by started laughing louder, their bodies pressing just a little closer together, like something was pulling them inward.
Jason’s eyes widened.
“Holy fuck,” he muttered.
Tank opened his eyes, the heat in his chest thrumming. “See?”
Jason exhaled, rubbing his face. “Okay. Okay. Now stop it.”
Tank took a slow breath.
And pulled it back.
The energy withdrew, sinking back into his skin.
The woman outside blinked, looking confused, then kept walking.
The group of guys loosened, their conversation shifting naturally again.
Jason stared at him.
“That was fucking real,” he said.
Tank just grinned.

4 – The Third Test: Direct Influence
Jason wanted to see how much control Tank really had.
“So,” Jason said, pacing again, “the power works when you will it to. But what if you focus it?”
Tank tilted his head. “Like?”
Jason gestured. “Try it on one person.”
Tank smirked. “You sure you don’t want to be the subject?”
Jason glared. “Pick someone else.”
Tank laughed, then turned back toward the window.
He spotted a man sitting alone at a café table across the street.
Tall, thickly built, bearded—his kind of guy.
Tank zeroed in.
He let his breath go slow.
And he focused.
He didn’t flood the space with his energy—just sent a thin, directed pulse outward, aimed only at that man.
The reaction was instant.
The man stiffened, his back straightening, his breath catching like someone had just whispered something filthy in his ear.
He shivered, setting down his coffee like he suddenly didn’t trust his hands.
Then—
Slowly—
His head turned.
Tank smirked.
Across the street, the man’s pupils were wide, his chest rising and falling faster, his fingers twitching against his thigh.
He could feel it.
He didn’t know why, but he felt it.
Tank pulled back.
The man blinked, shuddering like he’d just woken from a dream, looking around in confusion.
Jason let out a low whistle.
“Well, fuck,” he muttered.
Tank turned back, grinning. “Told you I had control.”
Jason exhaled sharply. “Dude, you just made that guy nearly nut himself over a cup of coffee.”
Tank chuckled. “It’s a gift.”
Jason shook his head. “No. It’s something else.”
Tank leaned in. “And you love it.”
Jason didn’t answer.
Because he didn’t know if he did or not.

5 – Winding Down
By late afternoon, Jason sat on the couch, rubbing his temples. “Alright. Recap.”
Tank leaned back, arms stretched. “Hit me.”
Jason counted on his fingers.
“One: The pendant hides your demonic changes but doesn’t suppress your lust aura.”
Tank nodded.
“Two: You can turn the power on and off at will.”
“Yup.”
“Three: You can direct it at specific people.”
Tank smirked. “Confirmed.”
Jason exhaled. “So now the question is… what the fuck do you do with it?”
Tank stretched, standing up. “For now? Go home and get ready for the work week.”
Jason blinked. “That’s it? You’re not gonna go full sex demon on the world?”
Tank grinned. “Not tonight.”
Jason shook his head. “Dude, I don’t know if you should go back to normal life after all this.”
Tank laughed, patting Jason’s shoulder. “I got this.”
Jason wasn’t so sure.
As Tank left, the pendant warm against his chest, he could still feel it inside him.
The power. The pull.
And deep down—
He knew this was just the beginning.
