Jason monday rewrite

Monday at the Clinic

1 – A Rough Start

Jason’s Monday morning started like every other—too early and fueled by a ridiculous amount of coffee. After the insanity of Bear Bash and the experiments with Tank, he was looking forward to a normal, boring day at the clinic.

But the moment he stepped inside, he knew that wasn’t going to happen.

Lacy, his receptionist, looked up from her tablet, lips pressed into a knowing smirk. “You’ve got three patients this morning who think they were drugged at Bear Bash.”

Jason nearly choked on his coffee.

Lacy barely reacted, scrolling through patient notes. “It’s weird, right? Usually, it’s just ‘Doc, I drank too much, and now my ass hurts.’ But these guys? They’re genuinely freaked out.”

Jason forced himself to play it cool. “Probably just the usual mix of booze, poppers, and bad decisions catching up to them.”

Lacy shrugged. “Maybe. But something about it feels… off.” She gave him a pointed look. “You were at Bear Bash, right?”

Jason smiled easily. “Not in any way I can discuss in my place of work.”

Lacy laughed. “Fair enough.”

Jason exhaled slowly and headed into his office.

He already knew exactly what had happened to these men.

And it wasn’t drugs.

It was Tank.

2 – The First Patient

Jason’s first “worried” patient was Nick H., a muscular guy in his 40s, usually confident and easygoing. Today?

He looked rattled.

Jason sat across from him, clipboard in hand, and kept his expression neutral. “So, Nick, tell me what’s going on.”

Nick exhaled, rubbing his jaw. “I think someone slipped something into my drink at Bear Bash.”

Jason forced himself to stay casual. “What makes you think that?”

Nick’s knee bounced. “I don’t know, man. One second, I was just drinking, dancing—normal shit. Next thing I know, I’m in the middle of… something.” He paused, shifting uncomfortably. “Like, I lost control. Like I would’ve done anything if someone told me to.”

Jason nodded, keeping his face carefully blank. “Do you remember everything that happened?”

Nick swallowed. “Mostly. It’s just… fuzzy. And when I talked to a few guys the next day, they all felt the same way. It was like we got caught up in something bigger than us.”

Jason fought the urge to curse under his breath.

Nick and his friends weren’t wrong.

They had been caught up in something bigger.

Something named Tank.

And Jason had to make sure no one figured that out.

He leaned back slightly, keeping his voice calm, reassuring. “Nick, you weren’t drugged.”

Nick’s jaw tightened. “How can you be sure?”

Jason smiled. “Because you’re fine now. If someone had slipped you something serious, you’d still be feeling the effects. But you walked in here alert, coherent, and you know where you are.”

Nick hesitated. “…So what the hell happened to us?”

Jason exhaled, choosing his words carefully. “It was just one of those nights. You had alcohol, poppers, a room full of hundreds of horny men—it’s easy to get caught up in the energy of it all.”

Nick’s shoulders loosened, his expression softening. “Yeah… maybe you’re right.”

Jason gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. “Drink more water next time.”

Nick chuckled. “Good advice, Doc.”

Jason smiled, but as soon as Nick left, his stomach twisted.

One down.

And two more to go.

3 – The Second Patient

The next guy was Darren, younger than Nick, built like a tank, covered in tattoos.

He sat on the exam table with wide, nervous eyes. “Doc, I think someone drugged me Saturday night.”

Jason didn’t react, just sat down and kept his expression neutral. “What makes you say that?”

Darren swallowed hard. “Because I lost time.”

Jason’s stomach dropped. “What do you mean?”

Darren ran a hand through his hair. “I was dancing, having a good time, and then—boom—I’m on my knees in the middle of the club, covered in sweat, totally out of it. It’s like my brain just… shut off.”

Jason exhaled slowly.

He could picture it perfectly—Darren, caught in Tank’s lust aura, completely surrendering to the pull of it.

“Did you feel sick afterward?” Jason asked.

Darren shook his head. “No. Just… wrecked. Like I’d been drained of everything.”

Jason forced himself to chuckle. “Sounds like you had a really good time.”

Darren flushed, looking away. “I mean, yeah, but… it wasn’t normal. I’ve been partying for years. This felt… bigger.”

Jason leaned forward slightly. “Darren, you weren’t drugged.”

Darren frowned. “Then what the hell happened?”

Jason smiled. “You got caught up in the moment. That’s what Bear Bash is about, right? A room full of men, all feeding off each other’s energy. Add in a few drinks, poppers, and a particularly charismatic guy in the center of it all, and it’s easy to get swept up.”

Darren hesitated. “A charismatic guy?”

Jason kept his smile steady. “You tell me.”

Darren’s eyes flickered—for just a second, recognition flashed across his face.

Tank.

Jason held his breath, waiting.

Then Darren exhaled, shaking his head. “Shit. Maybe I did just get too into it.”

Jason clapped him on the shoulder. “Next time, pace yourself.”

Darren let out a relieved laugh. “Yeah. Good call, Doc.”

Jason smiled. But as soon as Darren walked out, he let out a long, slow breath.

Two down.

One more to go.

4 – The Third Patient

The last guy—Leo—was the worst.

He looked like he hadn’t slept at all.

His hands shook as he sat in the chair, running his fingers through his hair. “Doc, something’s wrong.”

Jason sat down slowly. “Tell me what happened.”

Leo took a deep breath. “Saturday night, I was gone. It was like I didn’t even have control over my own body. I wanted to stop—I tried to stop—but I couldn’t.”

Jason’s stomach tightened.

Leo’s eyes flickered up to him. “It was like I was… under a spell or some shit.”

Jason’s throat went dry.

Of all the guys, Leo was the closest to the truth.

Jason forced a chuckle. “A spell? Come on, Leo.”

Leo shook his head quickly. “No, I’m serious. I’ve never felt like that before. And it wasn’t just me. You felt it too, right?”

Jason’s pulse pounded.

Shit.

He leaned in, his voice low. “Leo, listen to me. You weren’t drugged. You weren’t hypnotized. You were just… really fucking into it.”

Leo hesitated. “I don’t know…”

Jason held his gaze. “Think about it. Do you really believe in magic sex powers?”

Leo let out a nervous laugh, shaking his head. “I mean… no, that’s ridiculous.”

Jason smiled, relieved. “Exactly. Just blame the poppers and move on.”

Leo exhaled. “Yeah. Yeah, you’re right.”

Jason nodded, but deep down?

He knew Leo wasn’t wrong.

5 – Checking in on Tank

By the time Jason finished work, his head was pounding.

He needed to see how Tank was holding up.

So he headed straight to Steel & Stag Barbershop.

And when he walked in?

Tank was slumped in his barber chair, exhausted.

Jason smirked. “Rough day?”

Tank cracked one eye open. “You have no idea.”

Jason chuckled, sitting on the counter. “Trust me, I do.”

Tank sighed. “How bad?”

Jason ran a hand through his hair. “Three of my patients thought they got drugged at Bear Bash.”

Tank sat up. “Shit.”

Jason nodded. “But don’t worry—I convinced them they were just really into you.”

Tank grinned. “I mean, not wrong.”

Jason rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah. But you kept it under control today?”

Tank exhaled. “Barely.”

Jason smirked. “Good. ‘Cause if you turn your shop into a lust cult, I’m gonna start charging you rent for therapy sessions.”

Tank laughed. “Deal.”

But they both knew—

This was just the beginning.
