1 – Back to Reality
Jason’s Monday morning started like any other—rolling out of bed way too early, downing a ridiculous amount of coffee, and heading into the clinic for a full day of seeing patients.
It was supposed to be business as usual.
But the second he stepped into his office, coffee in hand, he knew that wasn’t gonna happen.
Because the first thing his receptionist, Lacy, said to him was:
“You’ve got three patients this morning who are all worried they got drugged at Bear Bash.”
Jason nearly choked on his coffee.
Lacy didn’t notice. She was scrolling on her tablet, reading over patient notes.
“Seems like a weird coincidence,” she mused. “You know how these parties are. Everyone gets a little too loose, but they don’t usually come running to the doctor about it.”
Jason forced himself to stay calm.
“Yeah,” he muttered. “Weird.”
He could already feel a headache forming.
This wasn’t drugs.
This was Tank.
And Jason had to make damn sure no one figured that out.

2 – The “Victims”
Jason’s first “worried” patient was Nick H., a guy in his early 40s, well-built, normally confident as hell.
Today?
He looked shaken.
Nick sat on the exam table, rubbing his jaw, his knee bouncing. “Doc, I—I don’t normally do this, but something felt off Saturday night.”
Jason took a seat across from him, casual, hands resting on his clipboard. “Tell me what you remember.”
Nick exhaled. “I remember drinking, taking a few hits of poppers, same shit as always. But then… I don’t know. It’s fuzzy. Like I was caught up in something way stronger than I should’ve been.”
Jason nodded. “Like how?”
Nick rubbed the back of his neck. “Like… I wasn’t totally in control. Like I would have done anything in that moment if someone told me to.”
Jason’s stomach twisted.
Nick met his eyes, expression uncertain. “I was talking to some other guys the next day. They all felt the same way. Some of them are freaking out, thinking maybe someone spiked the drinks.”
Jason stayed calm, controlled.
Nick didn’t know what had really happened.
And Jason sure as hell wasn’t about to tell him.
So instead, he leaned back, giving Nick an understanding smile.
“Nick, you weren’t drugged,” he said smoothly. “It was just one of those nights. A mix of the booze, the poppers, the heat
